I was hired to film and edit together a short promotional video for a fundraiser event called Let's beach! 2010 (taking place on June 27 at the Balmy Beach Club in Toronto, ON). Organized by Beaches Living Guide (www.beachesliving.ca), the event was a great place for neighbours to mingle, enjoy live music, discover local businesses, and raise money for Children's Wish Foundation. I had a great time, and really enjoyed putting the video together, which is featured on the event's official page - http://www.beachesliving.ca/pages/gallery/Letsbeach2010/ Enjoy!

"Not in Nottingham" Audio for Video Assignment
In second year Intermediate Audio we choose a scene from a movie, erased the audio, and entirely recreate the sounds and dialogue from scratch. Paired up with Christian Deo, ProTools LE, and the Foley room, we spent hours creating, recording, and editing sounds. We began by recording the song, "Not in Nottingham", in which Christian sang with layered guitar tracks. Once that was done, we moved onto the sound effects which included everything from rain, to footsteps, to chains on the ground. Last was the ADR work, with which we manipulated voices to make them suit the characters (like raising pitch to make a more "mouse" voice). Enjoy!
ElectriCITY Documentary
Directed by fellow student Constance Chan, this documentary focuses on electronic music and bloggers in the Toronto, Ontario area. I was on location as a videographer, shooting on a Sony HMC150. While this clip is the teaser trailer, there are links within the video to the full-length documentary. Enjoy!
